Bolt Graphics is taking aim at NVIDIA, promising a future GPU solution built with RISC and effectively acting as a computer-on-card. Although initially targeted fewer applications (3D artists, game developers, animators) to minimize the 'surface area' of software optimization, Bolt hopes to bring its GPU to gaming sometime in the future.
