Ahead of their forthcoming 30th anniversary tour Placebo have released a brand new single ‘Helen Keller’ via Elevator Lady Ltd / So Recordings. New single Helen Keller sees Placebo hark back to their self-titled debut and its hidden track H.K. Farewell. Rather than revisiting the original recording, the band have created an entirely new song, referencing the keyboard melody from H.K Farewell as its foundation. The track takes it in a fresh direction, retaining the haunting character of the original melody while adding the raw angst the band are known for. The new single, which was recorded in London earlier this year, was produced by Placebo and Adam Noble and mixed by Adam Noble. Speaking about the new single Brian explains: ‘‘This is a new rock song inspired by the piano melody from H.K.
