I'm watching Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5, "The Bells," for the first time. There are episodes that make you sad, and then there are episodes where you just sit there trying to make your brain accept what it watched. This was that for me. I have spent so many seasons trying to believe the best in Dany, so this one was not just shocking. It was frustrating in a way I am still trying to sort out. I know people have very strong feelings about "The Bells," and after watching it, I completely understand why.
