Blind Descent is an open-world survival adventure beneath the surface of Mars, where an expedition into its mysterious depths has gone badly wrong. We're returning to the playtest over a year after my last look to see how much has changed ahead of the next closed beta. There's been some significant progress since July 2025, particularly around optimisation, the opening mission structure, narrative and wider gameplay systems. It's still very much a work in progress, but I'm excited by where it's heading and we'll definitely be returning when Early Access arrives.
