In honor of Disney-MGM Studios 37th anniversary, I invite you to check out this one-hour special that aired on The Disney Channel in August and September 1989, hosted by Fred Newman. It gives a great overview of the construction of park and is a wonderfully nostalgic look back at what the park used to be. I really liked this park and visited it for the first time in November of 1989. I have upscaled it a bit and corrected the color to be more natural. Put your feet up and let’s take a step back in Disney-Time! I started this channel to preserve memories. Pure and simple. I have a lot of VHS and 8mm video that I recorded, 20, 30 even 40 years ago, mostly at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. My goal is to use the tools I have to bring these old, grainy, washed out videos back to life. Up-scaling to bring out clarity, color correction, tone, white balance and exposure to restore natural color and in some cases stabilization to make the video more watchable.
