There’s no way The Boys would end on a season THAT bad right? Oh my god that really was the final season… WHY DID THEY DO THAT?? Not even a shockingly good finale could save the other 7 episodes of meandering before the end as The Boys goes out with one of the strangest final seasons I’ve ever seen – but I guess that’s what Clara would’ve wanted. Season 5 of The Boys played out like nobody told them it was the last one up until the finale. And apparently, they forgot everything that happened before this because some characterization is so baffling and contrived.
